A bit of a sad Willow Sketchie Challenge this week.  As designer Sharon Armstrong stops with Willow Designs it is the last one.  I read today that they will continue as a monthly challenge ;).  Back to my card ;).  I've choosen this time a digi from the Polly Pickleberry CD and coloured her with alcoholmarkers.  Love those papers from Prima Marketing and they went perfectly with the sketch.

Een beetje een trieste Willow Sketchie Challenge deze week.  Daar ontwerper Sharon Armstrong stopt met Willow Designs is het de laatste Sketchie.  Vandaag las ik dat ze verder gaan als een maandelijkse challenge ;).  Terug naar mijn kaart ;).  'k Heb een digi gekozen van de Polly Pickleberry Cd en heb haar gekleurd met alcoholmarkers.  'k Ben echt dol op de papiertjes van Primaa Marketing en ze werkte hier ook perfect met de sketch.

And as I made a baby girl card I also did a baby boy card with the same Wilbert Sitting digi .  I used the same sketch as the challenge and made it a bit more masculin - Wilbert will be happy ;).  I've crocheted this time only 4 halve treble crochets  (UK crochet terms) in each opening.  

 

Daar ik een meisjes babykaart had gemaakt heb ik ook maar een jongens babykaart gemaakt  met dezelfde digi.  Ik heb dezelfde sketch als de challenge gebruikt en heb hem wat mannelijker gemaakt - Wilbert zal blij zijn ;).  Deze keer heb ik in iedere opening enkel 4 vasten gehaakt.

Last week I made it to the top 3 of Willow Sketchie Challenge with my "Busy in the garden" card ...again....thank you :) - it's much appreciated ;).  And what can a girl do in that case? Play again :).  As I am in need of some babycards and the theme of this week is cute I decided to make a feminin Wilbert Sitting - I hope he forgives me for putting a very pink jacket on him :) - baby girl card.  I've crocheted the die with a halve treble crochet, 2 x treble crochet and a halve treble crochet (UK crochet terms) in each opening.  Looks cute enough don't you think?

Verleden week kwam ik alweer in de top 3 terecht van Willow Sketchie Challenge met mijn "Busy in the garden" kaart en dat apprecieer ik enorm dus dank jullie wel :).  En wat kan een mens dan doen in zo'n geval?  Juist terug meedoen ;).   Aangezien ik nood heb aan babykaarten en het thema van deze week Schattig is heb ik besloten om een vrouwelijke versie van Wilbert Sitting - ik hoop dat hij het mij vergeeft dat ik hem in zo'n  Roze pakje heb gestoken :) - als meisjes babykaart te maken.  De stans heb ik omhaakt met in iedere opening een half stokje, 2x een stokje en een half stokje.  Wat denken jullie? Ziet hij er schattig genoeg uit?

Sometimes I just keep fidling and then before I know it days goes by.  There is snow outside perhaps I didn't get the feel of working in the garden as I would ever ;) because I'm not a garden person,  I luckely don't have a garden and I rather get my hands inky then dirty with earthy things :).  I just went with the "In the garden" theme from Willow Sketchie challenge and I made the most of it ;)

Soms blijf ik gewoon prutsen en voor ik het besef gaan er dagen voorbij.  Er ligt buiten sneeuw en misschien kreeg ik het gevoel van het werken in de tuin niet zo maar zal dat  ooit gebeuren ? want ik ben zo niet een groen persoon en ik heb ook geen tuin en vooral heb ik toch liever inkhanden dan vuile handen van aarde :).  Ik heb het thema gevolgd van deze week van Willow Sketchie Challenge: In de tuin en heb geprobeerd er het beste van te maken ;).

Skating on Ice

Last year I struggled to get all my Christmas cards ready so this year I decided to start early :). I took the Skating on Ice stamp from Willow Designs and coloured it with Spectrum Noirs.  The paper is from the  Warm winter wishes pretty paper bloc from Marianne Design.  The flowers and Christmas tree charm are on top of the  LR0202 die from Marianne Design and I've used Walnut Stain distress ink on the embossed parts of the die and all of the papers.  I've accentuated the ice with Stickles Icecle.

Verleden jaar heb ik me moeten haasten om alle kerstkaarten af te krijgen en dit jaar besloot ik toch om wat vroeger te beginnen :). Ik heb het stempeltje Skating on Ice van Willow Designs genomen en ingekleurd met Spectrum Noirs.  Het papier is van het  Warm winter wishes pretty paper bloc van  Marianne Design.  De bloemetjes en het kerstboompje liggen op de LR0202 stans van Marianne Design en ik heb Walnut Stain distress inkt gebruikt om de geëmbosttee delen van de stans te accentueren en voor alle papiertjes.  Het ijs

is met  Stickles Icecle bewerkt

Snel en makkelijk was het thema voor deze week bij Willow Sketchie Challenge en dus heb ik de Winnie en Walter Christmas CD genomen, de papiertjes geprint en ook de ingekleurde stempeltjes gebruikt.  Ik heb wat 3D accentjes aangebracht, wat stickles en glitter gebruikt en hun sketch gevolgd en klaar!

Quick and easy was the theme on  Willow Sketchie Challenge this week and I took the  Winnie and Walter Christmas CD, printed all the papers and used the coloured digi's.  I put some  3D accents on it, some stickles and glitter and followed their sketch.  Finished!

I love Christmas

En dan kom je in de top 3 terecht en wat doe je dan ? Juist opnieuw meedoen met Willow Sketchie Challenge :).  Ik had ook gebruik gemaakt van hun superdeal in de webwinkel met 10 clearstamps en de kerst CD-rom en die heb ik inmiddels ontvangen.  Vintage was het thema - oeps - 'k wil wel vintagekaarten maken maar tot op heden nog niet zoveel mee gedaan.  Ach dacht ik ik probeer het gewoon.  'k Had het papierblokje van Maya It's Christmas time dus ik dacht qwa papier zit het wel snor.  Alle papiertjes flink gedistrest met de distresser van Tim Holtz en behandelt met Walnut Stain distress inkt.  Met de lat van Timmie stikgaatjes gemaakt en met de hand gestikt - ja de naai machine en ik zijn niet zo'n goeie vriendjes ;).  De I love Christmas stempel van Willow Designs is met Sepia Archival inkt gestempelt en ingekleurd met Supracolor Soft potloden.  De rand van de witte achtergrond heb ik eerst lichtjes met Antique Linen gedistrest zodat het niet zo wit was.  Het bont van de mutsjes is Flower Soft een de sneeuw is Liquid Appliqué.  Toch nog wat hotfix steentjes gebruikt voor  the sparkle :).

And then you end up in the 3 what do you do? Right you just play again with the Willow Sketchie Challenge :).  I also used their offer in the webshop of the Christmas CDrom and 10 clearstamp and I've received them now.  The theme this time was Vintage  - oeps - I want to but 'till now I didn't really made any cards in vintagestyle.  Oh I thought I just give it a go.  I had the Maya It's Christmas time paperpad so that's vintagelike ;).  I've distressed all papers with the distresser from Tim Holtz and  Walnut Stain distress ink.  With Timmie's ruler I've made stitching holes and stitched them by hand - ah well me and my sewing machine aren't that good friends ;).  The I love Christmas stamp from  Willow Designs is stamped with  Sepia Archival ink and coloured with Supracolor Soft pencils.  The border of the white background is distressed with Antique Linen to make it just not so white.  The fur is Flower Soft and the snow is Liquid Appliqué.  And for some sparkle I used just a few Hotfixstones :).

Eindelijk eens tijd voor mezelf  en heb echt zin om eindelijk eens wat meer challenges te gaan doen.  Voor de Willow Sketchie Challenge heb ik dit kerstkaartje gemaakt met deze leuke digi van Willow Designs.  'k Heb zowel het thema als de sketch gebruikt.  De digi is gekleurd met Supracolor Soft potloden.  Het bont is Flowersoft.  'k Vond het toch ook weer eens leuk om met een sketch te werken dus op naar de volgende ;).

Finally some time for myself and I'm really looking forward to do some more challenges.  For the Willow Sketchie Challenge I've made this Christmas card with a digi from Willow Designs.  I've used the theme aswell as the  sketch.  The digi I've coloured with Supracolor Soft pencils.  For the fur I've used Flowersoft.  I've  really enjoyed working with a sketch again so up to the next one ;).
