On this first post of the year I'm wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year with lots of creativity.

As always it's thursday so time for a Christmas card.  Anything goes was the theme for Hazel this week and I've made a card with this lovely digi from Lacy Sunshine.  Off to see the family, take care everyone!

Bij deze 1ste post in het nieuwe jaar wil ik iedereen een gelukkig, liefdevol en gezond Nieuwjaar wensen met heel veel creativiteit.

Zoals altijd op donderdag is het nu ook weer tijd voor een kerstkaart.  Alles mag was het thema voor Hazel deze week en ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met deze mooi digi van Lacy Sunshine.  Even op familiebezoek vandaag, zorg goed voor jullie zelf!

Thursday so time for another Christmas card.  Do you hear what I hear? was the challenge for Hazel this week and I choose Sammi Boo Caroling to go with it.  Just coloured, stickled and added some bling bling.  Last week I was the second winner in Hazel's challenge so happy days ;).

Donderdag dus tijd voor een nieuwe kerstkaart.  Hoor je wat ik hoor? was de uitdaging voor Hazel deze week en ik heb hiervoor het zingende Sammi Boo digitje gekozen.  Alleen gekleurd, gestickeld en wat strass steentjes toegevoegd.  Blije dagen want ik was de 2de winnaar bij Hazel afgelopen week ;).

Heb ik een truukje voor het stickelen van de randjes?  Niet echt ;).  Hoe vaker ik het doe, hoe beter het gaat maar dat is met veel dingen zo in de knutselwereld ;).  'k Gebruik altijd de stickles van Ranger want die hebben een heel fijn teutje en daar gaat het het best mee.  Een tandenstokertje en babydoekje bij de hand voor als het verkeerd gaat en ik het vlug kan herstellen.  En dan gewoon hoppa en niet teveel gaan nadenken ;).

On Lacy Sunshine's facebook group there is a challenge of making creations with Victorian Lizabeth and I've made a card for it.  Lizabeth is coloured with the Supracolor pencils and for the first time I've blended with the pencils themselves, it's like colouring with alcohol markers but then with pencils.  I think she turned out very well ;).  That was the easy part, the cardmaking part wasn't.  Finally decided on the layout (days later) and went for handstitched borders on the papers and the digi with different colours of a shiny thread.  The doily is made from the papers in the paperpad and I've added some hotfix stones as a finishing touch ;).

Bij Lacy Sunshine's facebook group loopt er een challenge om creaties te maken met de Victorian Lizabeth digi en ik heb er ook een kaartje voor gemaakt.  Lizabeth is gekleurd met de Supracolor pencils en  voor het eerst heb ik geblend met de potloden zelf,  het lijkt dan wel wat  op het kleuren met alcohol markers.  Ik vind ze wel erg mooi geworden al zeg ik het zelf ;).  En ook al denken jullie misschien van niet maar dat was echt het makkelijkst, het kaartmaken niet zo.  Uiteindelijk besloten over de layout (dagen later) en dan heb ik alle papiertjes en ook de digi voorzien van een handgestikt randje met verschillende kleurtjes Mettler Metallic draad.  De doily is gemaakt van papier dat in het blokje zat en om het af te maken heb ik wat hotfixsteentjes toegevoegd als finishing touch ;).

The current challenge for the Lacy Sunshine challengeblog is Flowers.  I've already coloured Peony for their facebook challenge and finally made a card with her.  All papers have handstitched borders and are distressed with Walnut Stain.  The embossed areas of the dies and the little flowers on the corner dies are also distressed. The little flowers and the border die I've decorated with some liquid pearls.  Added a triple bow with dark brown lace and some sticky pearls to finish.  

De lopende uitdaging op het  Lacy Sunshine challengeblog is Bloemen.  Ik had Peony reeds gekleurd voor hun facebookgroep uitdaging en ik heb er eindelijk een kaartje van gemaakt.  Alle papiertjes hebben handgestikte randen en daarna zijn ze beïnkt met Walnut Stain.   De geëmbosste gebieden van de stansjes en de kleine bloemetjes van de hoekstansjes zijn eveneens beïnkt. Op de kleine bloemetjes en de boord heb ik wat liquid pearls gedaan.  Een 3-dubbele strik met donkerbruine kant en wat plakparels toegevoegd om de kaart af te maken.

Thursday so time for another Christmas card.  The challenge for Hazel this week was to make your mark, use markers or another colour medium.  Lucky me :) because I've coloured Holly with Spectrum Noirs and Copics last week and just had to finish a card with her.  I've made a simple layout, I think Holly says it all and the paper is a perfect match for her.  Added some hotfix bling bling et voilà another card finished for the stash ;).

Donderdag dus weer tijd voor een nieuwe kerstkaart.  De uitdaging voor Hazel deze week was: 'make your mark" - Engelse uitdrukking en de vertaling komt ongeveer neer op je stempel drukken op iets.  De bedoeling was om markers of een ander kleurmedium te gebruiken.  'k Had geluk want ik heb Holly afgelopen week gekleurd met Spectrum Noirs en Copics en ik moest alleen maar de kaart maken.  Ik heb het simpel gehouden, Holly komt zo uitstekend tot haar recht en het papiertje is een perfecte combinatie.  Juist nog wat hotfix bling bling toegevoegd et voilà weer eentje klaar voor de voorraad ;).

Thursday so time for another Christmas card.  The challenge for Hazel this week was to use a sentiment and I used a Dutch one: Happy Holidays, Prosperous New Year in English.  I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embosspowder.  There was also the monthly challenge with 52 weeks of Christmas which was to use kraft on your card.  The base of the card is kraft and I used it for the die cut and the label.  The digital stamp is one from Lacy Sunshine, a Flower Pot Pretties and I've coloured her with my Supracolor pencils.  Polly Poinsettia was coloured in a attempt to save the Flower Pot Pretties on Lacy Sunshine facebook group (link in right sidebar).  Last week no time to play but this week I did and I already coloured a few others:

You can already participate by colouring the Flower Pot Pretties and you will have a chance to win some goodies ;).  I will make cards with them in the future because after this post I'm off to colour some more ;).

Donderdag dus tijd voor een nieuwe kerstkaart.  De uitdaging voor Hazel deze week was om een wens, tekst te gebruiken en ik gebruikte: Prettige Feestdagen, Voorspoedig Nieuwjaar; een stempeltje van Family welke ik warm geëmbosst heb met goud.  Er was ook de maandelijkse uitdaging bij 52 weeks of Christmas en bij deze moest je kraft gebruiken op je kaart.  De basis is kraft en de stans en het label zijn van kraft gemaakt.  

Het digitale stempeltje is er eentje van Lacy Sunshine, een Flower Pot Pretties en ik heb haar gekleurd met mijn  Supracolor potloden.  Polly Poinsettia is gekleurd in een poging om de Flower Pot Pretties te redden, een uitdaging op  Lacy Sunshine facebook groep (link staat in de rechter zijkolom).  Verleden week had ik geen tijd om mee te doen maar deze week heb ik er al een aantal gekleurd (zie foto's hierboven).  Je kan al meedoen door alleen deze Flower Pot Pretties te kleuren en zo kans te maken om wat te winnen ;).  Kaartjes maken komt later want na deze post ga ik er nog wat meer kleuren ;).

Thursday so time for another Christmas card.  Use gold or silver was the challenge for Hazel this week ( I was one of the winners last week so yeah :) ).  And this week it's also time for the monthly sketch from Completely Christmas ( and I was the winner last week so yeah....again :)....lucky week ;) ).  So I've used the sketch.  All papers have Stickles gold borders, added some ribbon and a bow using a ribbon with a golden thread, used metallic gold paper for the die cut and added some tiny golden hotfix stones and to finish I've added 3 golden pearls.  Curly Sue is coloured with Polychromos pencils and on most of the yellow I've put some glitter pen to let it shine more.  And so another one finished for the stash ;).

Donderdag dus tijd voor een nieuwe kerstkaart.  Gebruik goud of zilver was de uitdaging voor Hazel deze week ( en verleden week was ik 1 van de winnaars dus yeah :) ).  En deze week was het ook de tijd voor de maandelijkse sketch van Completely Christmas ( en ook hier was ik de winnaar dus yeah :)....een geluksweek ;) ).   Dus heb ik de sketch gebruikt.  Alle papiertjes hebben goud gestickelde randen, het gebruikte lint heeft een gouden draad, de stans is gemaakt van metallic goud papier en ik heb wat kleine gouden hotfix steentjes toegevoegd en om af te ronden heb ik 3 gouden pareltjes toegevoegd.  Curly Sue is gekleurd met Polychromos potloden en op het meeste van het geel heb ik wat glitterpen gedaan om het wat meer te laten glitteren.  Enzo is er weer een kaartje klaar voor de voorraad ;).

Make it femine was the challenge with Lacy Sunshine this time.  I've used a femine paperpad and colored Emily, the challenge freebie,  accordingly.  I already had in mind to add a bow and some flowers when I saw the bingo card challenge with Scr@p-cards challenge and thought let's see what I can do with that one.  I've already had the die cut made, added flowers and glitters on the flowers.  And I also saw another bingo: I've used strass, a bow from 3 colors seambinding ribbon even some lace and again the glitters on the flowers.

Maak het vrouwelijk was de challenge bij Lacy sunshine deze keer.  Ik heb een vrouwelijk papierblokje gebruikt en heb Emily in overeenstemming gekleurd.  Ik had al in gedachten om een strik en bloemetjes toe te voegen toen ik de bingo kaart challenge zag bij Scr@p-cards challenge en ik dacht toch even kijken of dat lukt.  Ik had al het malletje gemaakt, heb bloemetjes toegevoegd en heb deze met glitters bewerkt: bingo voor de onderste rij.  En toen zag ik er nog eentje nl. diagonaal van onder naar rechts beneden: strass gebruiken, een strik gemaakt van 3 kleurtjes seambinding lint en zelfs kant onder de mal gedaan en de glitters op de bloemetjes maw nogmaals bingo.

Add flower(s) was the challenge for the Lacy Sunshine challenge this time and so I did.  I've coloured the challenge freebie Penelope Pansy with spectrum noirs.  Flowers, die cut and all backgroundpapers are made from the same Studiolight paperpad.  Added some pearls and liquid pearls on the digi and added a triple bow with 2 shades of seam binding ribbon.  I kept fiddling with the bow but it had a mind of his own but other then that I'm pleased with the result ;).

Voeg bloem(en) toe was de uitdaging voor Lacy Sunshine challenge deze keer en dat heb ik gedaan.  De challenge freebie Penelope Viool is gekleurd met spectrum noirs.  De bloemetjes, de stans en alle achtergrondpapiertjes zijn gemaakt uit hetzelfde papierpadje van Studiolight.  Wat pareltjes, vloeibare parels op de digi en een 3-voudige strik met 2 kleuren seam binding lint toegevoegd.  Ik heb flink wat gefoefeld aan de strik maar hij bleef maar eigenwijs z'n ding doen maar buiten dat ben ik wel tevreden over het resultaat ;).

The challenge for Lacy Sunshine this time is anything goes and the pirate digi was the freebie this time.  I don't make a lot of childrens cards but I thought this was just the digi for it so I gave it a go ;).  I've coloured Wilkes with polychromos, added a banner and some twine et voilà ;).

De uitdaging bij Lacy Sunshine was deze keer alles mag en de piratendigi was de freebie deze keer.  Ik maak zelden kinderkaarten maar ik dacht dat deze digi er wel ideaal voor was dus waagde ik er me toch aan ;).  Ik heb Wilkes gekleurd met polychromos, heb de vlaggetjes van Joy toegevoegd en wat bakkerskoord et voilà ;).

Use spring colors was the challenge for Lacy Sunshine this time and with the challenge freebie digi I've created this card.  I've colored Gemma with pencils and highlighted with a sparkle pen.  Just added some bling bling and a sentiment.

Gebruik lentekleuren was de uitdaging bij Lacy Sunshine deze keer en met de freebie digi heb ik deze kaart gemaakt.  Gemma is gekleurd met potloden en ik heb wat highlights toegevoegd met een glitterpen.  Verder enkel nog wat strass steentjes en een kleine tekst toegevoegd.

Today just a quick post for the card I've made for the Lacy Sunshine challenge: use a sentiment.  I've used the free digi (see challenge for more info) and coloured her with Spectrum Noirs.  The sentiment is from a Marianne Design set and I think it was a perfect match with Izzybella Boo.  To finish the card I've added a simple bow and some bling bling.

Vandaag een vlugge post om  de  kaart te plaatsen die ik maakte voor de Lacy Sunshine challenge: gebruik een tekst.  Ik heb de gratis digi gebruikt (zie challenge voor info) en heb haar gekleurd met Spectrum Noirs.  De tekst is uit een set van Marianne Design en ik vond hem ideaal bij Izzybella Boo.  Om de kaart af te maken heb ik een simpele strik toegevoegd en wat strass steentjes.

Yes another Christmas card ;).  I wanted to participate in Lacy Sunshine bingo challenge.  I've choosen Bow - Pearls - Ribbon and so I made a triple bow with 2 colors of seambinding ribbon  with a pearl brad and finished the card with lots of sticky pearls.  As I did wanted to make another card for Hazel's blue challenge I've coloured Emily with shades of blue spectrum noirs - difficult blues in the SN's but didn't have easier blues in the copics so I did my best and did find some papers to match.  Finishing Emily with  some glitter pen accents on her dress and hat to give some Christmas sparkle to the card.  Turned out not so bad...I think....

Ja nog een kerstkaart ;).  Ik wou meedoen met de Lacy Sunshine bingo challenge.  Ik heb gekozen voor Strik - Parels - Lint en ik heb een 3-voudige strik gemaakt met 2 kleuren seambinding lint en een parel splitpennetje er doorheen.  Om de kaart af te maken heb ik plak parels gebruikt.  Om nog te kunnen meedoen met Hazel's blauw challenge heb ik Emily gekleurd met spectrum noirs blauwtinten - moeilijke blauwkleuren in de spectrum noirs maar in de copics had ik ook geen makkelijker dus mijn best gedaan en ook nog wat passend papier gevonden.  Nog wat glitterpen accentjes op Emily's jurk en hoed om de kaart wat extra kerstglitter te geven.  Ons Emily mag er wezen...denk ik...

A quick post for the card I've made for the Lacy Sunshine challenge.  I've coloured Eleanor with the polychromos.  Through the lacey ovale die I've woven some seambinding ribbon and to finish off the card I've decorated with some hotfix stones.  And so I have another Christmas card for the stash ;).

Even vlug mijn kaart voor de Lacy Challenge op mijn blog zetten.  Eleanor is gekleurd met de polychromos.  Door de lacey ovale stans heb ik wat seambinding lint gewoven en heb wat hotfix steentje gebruikt om te versieren.  Enzo alweer een kerstkaartje klaar voor de voorraad ;).

For the Lacy Sunshine challenge It's a Bling thing I've made this card with the freebie Little Peanut.  Once you enter their program ( details you can find here) you get a freebie the next challenge.  I really wanted to enter again because last time I've made it to the top 3 with my Victorian Emily card and I could pick 1 digi for free - how cool is that :).  

Back to my card.  I've coloured Little Peanut with Spectrum Noirs and went out of my comfort zone (brown) for her hair and coloured it black - didn't turned out so bad I think...The borders of the papers are handstitched with a glitter thread and I embroided the floral oval with a 1-5 stitch (up in 1 - pick one on the oval die en start from there -  with the needle and thread down in the 5th hole, up in 6 down in 2, up in 3 down in 7 etc - if you go down they are always 3 little holes in between the up and the down - quick embroidery lesson ;) ).  The bow is made with 2 different colours of seam binding ribbon.  For more bling effect I've decorated Little Peanut wings with hotfix stones and put some on the floral oval and the paper.

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor de  Lacy Sunshine challenge It's a Bling thing met de freebie Little Peanut.  Eens je in hun programma ( details kan je  hier vinden) stapt kan je voor de volgende challenge een freebie krijgen.  Ik wou nu echt weer meedoen want de laatste challenge kwam ik in de top 3 terecht met mijn Victorian Emily card en kon ik een digitje kiezen - is dat niet gaaf :).  

Terug naar mijn kaart.  Little Peanut is gekleurd met de  Spectrum Noirs en voor haar haar ging ik uit mijn comfort zone (bruin) en maakte het zwart - het valt wel mee toch? De  boorden van de papiertjes zijn handgestikt met een glittergaren en de floral oval is geborduurd met een 1-5 steek (op in 1 - kies er eentje op de ovaal en ga zo verder - met naald en draad en neer in het 5de gaatje, op in 6 neer in 2, op in 3 neer in 7 etc - als je neer gaat zijn er steeds 3 gaatjes tussen de op en neer - een vlug borduurlesje  ;) ).  De strik is gemaakt met 2 kleuren seam binding lint.  Voor meer bling heb ik de vleugeltje van de digi met Hotfix steentjes versierd alsook de ovaal en de papiertjes.

Thursday and so time for a Christmas card. Theme for Hazel this time was music and for this I used a music sheet for one of the background papers.  The lovely digi I've used is from Lacy Sunshine so I can enter their challenge. If you use a digi from them you can enter their loyalty program and you can receive a free digi next challenge - free is always music to my ears ;).  I've used my alcohol markers to colour Emily and it was a while ago since I've coloured with them - it took forever to get it right, lots of little things and no eraser this time ;).   In the end I think I got there ;).  All the papers have a handstitched border with glitter thread.  To complete the card I've added a big lace bow and some bling.  And so another card is  ready for the stash ;)

Donderdag en dus tijd voor een nieuwe kerstkaart.  Muziek was het thema voor Hazel deze week en hiervoor heb ik als 1 van de achtergrondpapiertjes een muziek blad gebruikt.  De prachtige digi is van Lacy Sunshine zodat ik ook kan meedoen met hun challenge.  Als je meedoet met een digi van hun dan kan je in hun loyalty programma stappen en krijg je de volgende challenge eentje gratis - gratis klinkt altijd als muziek in mijn oortjes ;).  Om Emily te kleuren heb ik weer eens de alcohol markers gebruikt en aangezien het een tijdje geleden was ben ik er ook heel lang aan bezig geweest - allemaal kleine dingetjes en geen gommetje deze keer ;).  Het uiteindelijk resultaat mag er wel wezen, denk ik ;).  De papiertjes hebben een handgestikte boord met glitterdraad en om de kaart af te maken heb ik een grote kanten strik  en wat strass steentjes toegevoegd.  Zo weer eentje klaar voor de voorraad ;).
